The North Alabama SolidWorks Users Group (NASWUG) is proud to announce our January 2012 NASWUG-RSA meeting. The meeting will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Redstone Bowling Lanes on the grounds of the Redstone Arsenal. Please join us for a SolidWorks Simulation Presentation! The presentation will be given by Ramesh Lakshmipathy, SolidWorks Simulation Area Technical Manager.

The North Alabama SolidWorks Users Group (NASWUG) would like to announce our 2011 NASWUG Year End Meeting! The meeting will be held on Tuesday November 1, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Dynetics Corporate Headquarters Building.

Richard Doyle, User Community Manager for DS SolidWorks Corporation, will be joining us to present Whats REALLY New in SolidWorks 2012! Richard is a CAD Industry veteran and longtime SolidWorks World presenter. (In fact, he has been to EVERY SolidWorks World!) This presentation differs from the SolidWorks Rollout presentations given by the Resellers. You’ll learn about new features inside of SolidWorks 2012 that you won’t hear about anywhere else.

SWUGN Technical Summit – NASHVILLE

The SolidWorks User Group Network (SWUGN) will be holding a SWUGN Technical Summit September 20, 2011 in Nashville, TN. This is a can’t miss event for any SolidWorks User in North Alabama!

This one-day training and networking event is hosted by the SolidWorks User Group Network and features technical presentations by SolidWorks Program Managers and local SolidWorks experts. Two technical tracks include sessions on general SolidWorks functionality and specialty sessions on such topics as PhotoView360, PDMWorks, and Simulation.

The cost is only $40.00 and includes sessions and meals.

The North Alabama SolidWorks Users Group (NASWUG) would like to announce our March 2011 NASWUG meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday March 24, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Dynetics Corporate Headquarters Building.

Kurt Lundstedt of DS SolidWorks Corporation will be joining us to present SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (Product Data Management)! If you haven’t yet seen this product in action, you defintely don’t want to miss this event.

Slight Location Change for TONIGHT’S Meeting

We have a slight change in our meeting location for tonight’s NASWUG meeting. We will be meeting in the Dynetics Systems Building which is located directly behind/beside the Dynetics CHQ building where we normally meet. Below is a campus map showing the new meeting location.
